Three exhibitions worth checking out during WorldPride here in Sydney.
The Party at UNSW Galleries in Paddingtion which features a history of queer parties covering three decades. Heaps of good collections and visuals along with Mark O’Brien’s amazing outifts from the 90s and Jac Vidgen’s R.A.T. outfits during the 80s.

Pride (R)evolution at the State Library NSW. Heaps of wonderful archival pieces throughout the decades including a wall dedicated to the Bad Dog parties. Everything from Allan Booth original designs for 80’s Mardi Gras posters to archival Act Up posters, photos and newspaper clippings.

Also don’t miss the collection of photos from gay activist David McDiarmid on a visit to Los Angeles and San Fransisco during the late 70s. At the Bondi Pavilion till March 26.
